In the holidays I went to Gore to see my cousins we were gonna go to the pools but you had to have adults in the pool to looking after you. so we couldn't go. I played Need For Speed and I didn’t even get a turn and I was bored. Then I just left to go home Mum, Reece and I got KFC.

Warrick Flooding Story
On the 21st of July it started raining heavily. Because of it it caused floods in Otago and Canterbury meaning people who lived there had to leave. My dad had to stay home and not go to work because the flooding was very bad. When he was at home he showed me a video about a river current going higher than it was before the flooding started. It was raining a lot which meant the river would rise higher that it was previously. Because of that, roads had to be closed. The river had to be closed so no accidents could happen to people and their cars. It is the first flood I ever have experienced in my life.

- It was only 6:00pm and it was dark. We were playing outside. I heard a vrmmm, I did not know what it was. It was coming from the sky, looking up I saw a flashing red light I didn't know what it was so I told my friends they didn't know what it was either. Soon the light was nearly out of sight we chased it down the road. Our parents followed us they told us what it was, Apparently it was a rescue helicopter. They told us to go inside so we did, when we went to bed we heard another vrmmm so we woke up and chased it down the road.

Yellow dwarf - the sun is a yellow dwarf
Zoom - go further into space .
I added a few extra sentences just in case I got asked what it mean't and I didn't know and also I wanted it to be more interesting to read and some others might not know what it means and they can find out what it means by reading the sentences of what it is.
